Dr. Jade Haxton is an associate dentist here at Urban Smiles Colwood. From a young age, Jade has been captivated by the field of dentistry. Her interest was first ignited during a memorable experience as a teenager, when her orthodontist used models of her jaws and teeth to teach a lecture to dental students—an event that made her feel like a bit of a celebrity and solidified her passion for oral health. With a clear goal in mind, she dedicated her high school and undergraduate years to preparing for a future in dentistry, eventually travelling to Australia to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Sydney.
Since graduating in 2022, Jade has cultivated a broad and well-rounded dental practice, managing everything from routine restorations to more complex, comprehensive cases. She is committed to continuous growth as a clinician and is proud to contribute to the team at Urban Smiles Colwood. Jade is an active participant in several study clubs and professional organisations and frequently attends hands-on training courses to remain current with the latest advancements in dental care. This ongoing education allows her to provide patients with high-quality, evidence-based treatment tailored to their individual needs.

Jade prides herself in her calm, personable approach to dentistry. Her goal is to create an environment free of judgement where each patient’s unique needs are met with personalized, comprehensive treatment plans. She welcomes all patients with any level of dental anxiety and hopes to make each visit stress-free.
Outside of her clinical work, Jade enjoys an active lifestyle. She can often be found on the soccer field, participating in the next local marathon, or exploring scenic trails with her partner Jules, and their two dogs Lennon and Nellie.
